Special Membership Meeting

 Dear Fellow Members:

As President, I appointed a committee to recommend to the Board the terms and conditions of the Rabbi’s employment. The Rabbi Transition Team, lead by Michael Newman, has recommended the hiring of Rabbi Mark Kram.

I am calling a special membership meeting for the purpose of having the Community approve the hiring of Rabbi Mark Kram as Rabbi of Temple Beth Or. The meeting will be held at Temple Beth or on Wednesday, April 16 at 8:00 p.m.

Below is Article IX of Beth Or’s By-laws. Voting by absentee ballot is allowed, however, to ensure validity, you must sign your name to the absentee ballot and deliver it to the Temple or to a Board Member. The ballot would contain the word “Approve” or “Disapprove” only.

B’Shalom, Larry Goodman, President, Temple Beth Or.
